Retirement from NICU Practice
Certified Neonatal Therapists (CNTs) in good standing who plan to retire from NICU practice may apply for CNT–Retired status. This designation is valid indefinitely.
If that individual later returns to practice and reattains certification, the standard initial application and examination process must be followed.
CNT–Retired status is intended for therapists who have retired from NICU practice and do not plan to return.
- Cost of CNT-Retired is currently $35.00
- To become a CNT-Retired, complete a short change-of-status application. Use the same email used for the original application.
